This system is a 2-user, galvanized steel vertical safety system (vertical lifeline) that meets the new ANSI Z359.16 standard, along with OSHA 1910.140 and 1926.502, when used with the Lad-Saf X3 Detachable Cable Sleeve (6160054) and Lad-Saf X2 Detachable Cable Sleeve (6160030). It includes the top and bottom brackets, 60’ of swaged 3/8 inch 1×7 galvanized steel cable, and 2 guides.
This complete system includes all brackets, pre-swaged cable, and cable guides, all in a single SKU. Top bracket anchor is either of stainless steel or galvanised steel which is connected to two rungs of the ladder for spreading the load to provide increased strength. When using a stainless-steel cable, a version incorporating a shock absorber can be used which removes the need for an inline shock absorber. Intermediate cable guide secures the cable to prevent damage occurring and are made from stainless steel and rubber construction. This should be installing at every 10 m.Cabloc® traveller is designed either with or without shock absorber. This unit is lightweight and sits in the palm of hand. Our 3M™ Protecta® Rebel™ Web Self-Retracting Lifelines are housed in durable, super-tough composite and provide an economical fall protection solution without compromising on performance or safety.
An SRL’s lifeline will extend as the user moves away, and retract automatically enabling the user to move about within a recommended working area at normal speeds. Should a fall occur, a speed sensing brake system will activate stopping the fall and reducing the forces imposed on the user to safe levels.
The Rebel Web can be connected from shoulder level and has a 140 kg (310lbs) weight capacity. The top swivel anchorage connector limits lifeline twisting and improves user experience. The super tough nylon housing is lightweight, compact, durable and UV resistant. The built in impact indicator allows for visual inspection and the heat shrunk clear PVC coating on the shock pack provides an easy to read label.
